I would describe myself as a multidimensional artist, since my artistic influences come from different fields of art, such as painting, music and dancing. All of my artistic practices require balance, originality and creativity, and they can inform and complement each other in many ways. However, I regard my artistic inclination in painting, as a distinct trait of my personality, because I can see the world through the eyes of my soul, and trust my instinct and intuition rather than following regulated forms of expression.
I prefer not to follow any particular artist or trend, though my work bears artistic elements from different modern styles. I believe that the originality of an artist's work is not only in technique or creativity, but in the artist's ability to express the world of his own era, in his own unique way. The technique I use in my paintings is oil on canvas, since I consider that this particular way of painting gives a special vitality and highlights the contrasting elements in my artistic work. Lastly, maintaining a post-structuralism view, I would like to encourage my audience to make their own interpretations of my artistic work, as any modern work holding the power of influence can suggest multiple readings.
