Art for everyone means something a little different. In all cases, the viewer is looking for something that moves them spiritually, intellectually, visually or emotionally. I believe art is an intersection between those elements, and becomes a place where order meets chaos for the viewer.
In my work, I seek to expand art past a visual process and make it live in depth on the canvas. I use known themes and alter them in a way of questioning the unwritten rules of art. I try to enhance the obvious, and bring the viewer to a more intimate observation and engagement with the selection. My goal is to bring joy to those who see my work, to invite them to look more carefully at the world we live in, and to discover beauty in our complex society.
