I was born in Hiroshima, Japan. I have been an art lover since childhood. When I was in junior high school, I experienced interpersonal trauma, which had a great impact on my life. Drawing became a way to heal my heart and mind, in the hope of healing others as well in the process. Initially I drew circles using colored pencils and pens, which I found soothing. Later I transitioned from abstract to figurative, drawing inspiration from manga and Japanese avant-garde painters.
The message I wish to communicate through my work is that, even when you are desperate, although you may not be aware of it, oceans of love support you and, thanks to love, you survive. By freeing myself from the bonds of society and the so-called common sense, I wish to create a new world of expression.
