My work explores the interface between nature and technology and how their influence upon one another shapes human behavior and perception. Transitioning from filmmaking to digital art, I developed a style of fractal abstract expressionism, which I like to call ‘Chaotic Expressionism.’ My inspiration is triggered by the textures and shapes I find in nature. I document them with my camera and assemble the images through a process akin to automatic drawing. The metamorphosis of the original photographic image suggests a deeper occult reality. As such, the work asks for us to look beyond the surface and find a deeper truth, to search for the metadata of reality.
