I don’t like definitions, as I believe that they narrow thinking and dictate perception, which would cause stereotypes and clichés which are alien to me and to my work.
In my art, I use vivid colors. As for paint, in this respect I show generosity. I never use paint thinner; I prefer to mix and find the desired color on the canvas. You can often see in my paintings mixtures of colors that most people consider clashing. But I still manage to find a harmony. Play of color is one of the features of my works.
Another feature of my paintings, which is difficult not to notice, is that women have a dominant place in them. Why women? It’s because women are the most beautiful creatures I have ever seen in my life. Each of them hides a secret which I try to explain in my paintings. It’s up to you whether I succeed in it or not. However, nothing else fascinates me as much as that divine vessel where heavenly pleasures and torments of hell merge.
