I enjoy looking through the lens of my camera to capture the initial framework that eventually becomes an original fine art print. I work in archival inks on matte fine art textured 100% cotton, mould-made papers. I do incorporate technology as my images are digitally processed, however, I am more intuitive than technology, relying more on organic methods to create original limited edition prints.

I deconstruct the familiar vocabulary of photography to incorporate an idea that defines and expands the photographic structure yet removes the tropes that permit us to speak about the image as photography. Rather, the print allows us to speak about the image as it is. Photography provides the foundation that both inspires my imagination and offers the element of surprise in discovering the range of possibilities for an image that extends beyond recording the outside world. It is my catalyst for self-expression – a reflection of my emotions, my growth in self-discovery, and my perspective of the world I live in.
